Job summary

First Recruitment Group is seeking a Field Architectural Building Engineer for a large Energy Transition project in Talacre, North Wales. The role is on site five days a week, with occasional Saturday mornings, supporting field architectural activities and coordinating subcontractors.

Ideal candidates have about 5 years in architectural building activities on construction sites such as Oil & Gas, industrial, or commercial settings, plus experience in material management and architectural

Qualifications

• 5 years in architectural building activities within a construction site project environment for Oil&Gas, Industrial or Commercial industry.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors and reviewing architectural docs.

Responsibilities

• Review Client's technical documentation and maintain project technical files.
• Coordinate external architectural engineering subcontractor activities and check designs.
• Review design specifications and coordinate architectural and structural design of building modules onsite.
• Support main structural aspects and definition of materials with regard to structural integrity.
• Prepare design specifications for architectural works for buildings and civil works relevant to buildings.
• Develop functional architectural layouts of buildings from multi-disciplinary input.
• Prepare material specifications and architectural basis of design for buildings onsite.
• Support Procurement in technical interface with Architectural vendors.

Talacre, North Wales – 5 days per week on site with occasional Saturday mornings

A Field Architectural Building Engineer is required to work on a large Energy Transition project based in Talacre, North Wales.

The successful candidate will ideally have 5 years experience in architectural roles (material reviewing, engineering documents interpretation, subcontractors coordinating) for construction sites including building facilities/ manufacturing plants or Oil Gas sites

As Field Architectural Building Engineer you will be part of our Liverpool Bay Project (Decommissioning & Carbon Capture and Storage). You will support the field architectural engineering activities.

How can you support us? Here below your responsibilities:

• Review Client's technical documentation and requirements and maintain project technical files
• As the Field Architectural Building Engineer, you will coordinate external architectural engineering subcontractor activities and check the designs of subcontracted architectural engineering
• Review design specifications and coordinate the architectural and structural design of building modules onsite
• As the Field Architectural Building Engineer, you will support the main structural aspects and definition of materials, with due consideration to the structural integrity of the module/building
• Prepare design specifications for architectural works for buildings and cooperates in preparing design specification for civil works relevant to buildings
• As the Field Architectural Building Engineer, you will develop functional architectural layout of buildings based on multi-disciplinary input
• Prepare material spec.'s and architectural basis of design for buildings onsite
• Support Procurement in technical interface with Architectural vendors

What are we looking for?

Experience: 5 years in architectural building activities within a construction site project environment for the Oil&Gas, Industrial or Commercial industry.

Technical skills: material management, architectural documentation review, client relationship
