Job summary

ARM International is seeking a site-based Rail Planner at Plumstead Depot to plan and schedule rail infrastructure maintenance while creating safe work packs and supporting possession planning. You will manage work orders and liaise with planners and delivery managers to ensure smooth delivery.

The role requires rail planning experience, SSOWP competence, PTS/Sentinel cards, and strong knowledge of railway systems. Expect extensive use of Word, Excel and SharePoint in a fully on-site environment.

Qualifications

• Previous rail planning experience.
• Network Rail Safe System of Work Planner (SSOWP) competence.
• PTS and Sentinel Card present.
• Experience creating safe work packs.
• Experience with possession planning.
• Knowledge of railway safety standards.
• Understanding of railway systems including track, signalling, stations, power and fleet.

• Experience with possession planning.
• Knowledge of railway safety standards.

• Strong working knowledge of Word, Excel and SharePoint.
• Experience using PPS, Maximo, Ellipse, SAP or similar asset management systems.
• Experience working with Network Rail, London Underground or Elizabeth Line interfaces.
• Knowledge of Central Access Systems.

Location: This is a fully site-based role at Plumstead Depot, Monday-Friday. No hybrid working is available.
