Job summary

Morson Group is seeking an SSOW Planner for TfL rail projects at Plumstead Depot on a 6 months rolling contract. The role focuses on planning maintenance work, preparing site requests, and creating safe system of work (SSOW) packs for delivery teams.

Candidates should hold PTS and NR SSOWP, with proven planning and scheduling knowledge, railway systems awareness, and proficient MS Office tools. Knowledge of asset management software (Ellipse, Maximo, SAP, FDM) is desirable.

Qualifications

• PTS certification is required.
• NR SSOWP competency is essential.
• Planning, scheduling and work allocation knowledge is essential.
• Awareness of Basic Safety Standards on the Railway is essential.
• Basic knowledge of railway systems (fleet, track, signals, stations, power) is essential.
• Basic knowledge of Asset Management Information Systems (Ellipse, Maximo, SAP, FDM) is desirable.
• Knowledge of Central Access Systems is desirable.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and SharePoint.
• Knowledge of NWR and TfL rail infrastructure and processes would be a bonus.

An exciting opportunity to work with TfL (rail) as an SSOW Planner on an ongoing basis.

The role predominently involves planning maintenance work, requesting work sites and creating saftey documents and SSOW packs for delivery teams to take to site.

The successful candidate should have:

• PTS
• Network Rail Safe System of Work Planner competency (NR SSOWP) - Essential
• Knowledge of planning, scheduling and work allocation - Essential
• Awareness of Basic Safety Standards on the Railway - Essential
• Basic knowledge of railway systems (fleet, track, signals, stations, power) to support planning of maintenance - Essential
• Basic knowledge of the requirement for and operation of Asset Management Information Systems (e.g. Ellipse, Maximo SAP, FDM) - Desirable
• Knowledge of Central Access Systems - Desirable
• Good knowledge of Microsoft package including Word, Excel and Sharepoint
• Knowlege of NWR and TfL rail infrastructure and processes would be a bonus
