Job summary

ARM in London is seeking a Planning & Delivery Manager to support a rail infrastructure maintenance delivery team at Plumstead Depot. The contract role offers a daily rate of £463.40 umbrella and requires site-based work.

Location: Plumstead, London. Monday to Friday, fully on site with no hybrid option. You will plan and schedule maintenance, create safe work packs, support possession planning, and coordinate with planners and delivery managers to ensure safe, efficient delivery.

Qualifications

• Previous rail planning experience required.
• SSOWP competence required.
• Valid PTS and Sentinel Card required.
• Experience creating safe work packs.
• Experience with possession planning.
• Knowledge of railway safety standards.
• Understanding of railway systems including track, signalling, stations, power and fleet.
• Strong working knowledge of Word, Excel and SharePoint.

We are currently recruiting for 3 Planning & Delivery Managers to support an infrastructure maintenance delivery team within the rail sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule rail infrastructure maintenance activities.
• Create and manage safe work packs.
• Support possession planning and work allocation.
• Manage work orders and maintenance planning activities.
• Attend planning and maintenance delivery meetings.
• Work closely with planners and delivery managers to support the wider planning function.

Essential Requirements

• Previous rail planning experience.
• Network Rail Safe System of Work Planner (SSOWP) competence.
• Valid PTS and Sentinel Card.
• Experience creating safe work packs.
• Experience with possession planning.
• Knowledge of railway safety standards.
• Understanding of railway systems including track, signalling, stations, power and fleet.
• Strong working knowledge of Word, Excel and SharePoint.

Desirable

• Experience using PPS, Maximo, Ellipse, SAP or similar asset management systems.
• Experience working with Network Rail, London Underground or Elizabeth Line interfaces.
• Knowledge of Central Access Systems.

Location: This is a fully site-based role at Plumstead Depot, Monday-Friday. No hybrid working is available.
