Job summary

Public Health Wales is seeking a Planning Support Manager on a fixed-term basis to cover maternity leave. You will oversee delivery of the Climate Response Plan and push forward our net zero ambitions, working with colleagues across the organisation and the wider public health system to deliver our plan.

You will use strong planning and people management skills to drive projects, synthesize guidance, and communicate plans clearly to stakeholders. Cardiff-based, full-time role.

Responsibilities

• Manage the delivery of the Climate Response Plan.
• Drive forward net zero ambitions in line with the Long Term Strategy.
• Lead and manage key organisational-level projects across the organisation.
• Develop and implement ways to work effectively with partners across the organisation and the wider public health system.
• Ensure plans and reports are accessible and understandable through excellent written communication.
