Job summary

Welsh Ambulance Services NHS Trust seeks a Project Manager for a 12-month secondment to cover maternity leave. You will lead specific organisation-wide projects, delivering autonomously within delegated parameters.

Strong influencing, negotiation and reporting skills are essential, with the ability to engage senior managers and diverse stakeholders. Welsh language is desirable but not required; English speakers are welcome.

Qualifications

• Educated to Postgraduate Diploma level in a relevant subject or equivalent experience.
• Evidence of continued professional development.
• Project management office qualification, PRINCE2, MSP or equivalent experience.
• Desirable: Change Management qualification.
• Experience of management and successful project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Identify and understand stakeholder needs and provide sound judgement with negotiating skills.
• Lead delivery and management of projects autonomously within delegated parameters.
• Provide comprehensive verbal and written reports to senior managers and partners.
• Act as project communications focal point and disseminate information.
• Analyse performance, capacity and demand data to identify improvements.
• Develop and monitor performance indicators and action plans.
