Job summary

Public Health Wales in Cardiff is seeking a Planning Support Manager on a fixed-term 12-month contract to deliver the Climate Response Plan and support decarbonisation efforts.

You will manage cross-directorate projects, monitor progress, and report findings with strong analytical skills across the organisation.

The role requires degree-level planning or project management knowledge and senior project experience; Welsh language skills are desirable.

Qualifications

• Degree level education or equivalent knowledge and skills related to planning/project management.
• Experience of managing and delivering projects at a senior level.
• Ability to gather, analyse, and present data to influence decisions.

• Manage delivery of the Climate Response Plan.
• Lead cross-directorate projects and stakeholder engagement.
• Monitor and report progress with strong analytical oversight.
