Job summary

Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services is seeking a Planning Coordinator at Sellafield, UK. You will plan and schedule maintenance and reactive work, manage Movex requests, and handle client queries within a CAFM system.

The role requires strong organisation, clear communication, and coordination skills, with a preference for familiarity with nuclear site practices. You will also arrange meetings, prepare agendas, minutes, and support weekly Mitigation/WIP sessions, with additional duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Scheduling, planning or coordinating experience required.
• Dynamic, organised individual with excellent communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office packages.
• General knowledge of nuclear site operational practices is desirable.
• Service delivery, operational support or customer service experience valued.
• Full UK Driving License advised due to location.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule PPM and reactive work in the CAFM system for relevant teams or resources.
• Proactively manage Movex requests following Sellafield procedures.
• Handle day-to-day client and vendor queries and escalate to management as needed.
• Arrange and administer meetings, prepare agendas, and distribute minutes (WIP meetings weekly).
• Undertake additional duties in line with capabilities as required.

ROLE: Planning Coordinator

HOURS: Monday to Friday, 40 hours, 9 day fortnight working pattern

LOCATION: Sellafield - Seascale - Location C0656

You Will Be Responsible For

• Planning and scheduling of the Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM)/ reactive work requests in the CAFM system to relevant work teams or individual resource,
• Proactive management and delivery of Movex requests in line with Sellafield procedures,
• Take a proactive approach to day-to-day client and vendor queries, assisting where necessary and ensuring issues are relayed promptly to management,
• Administrate and arranging meetings including preparation of agendas, recording and distributing minutes, WIP meeting (weekly Mitigation/WIP meeting with team leaders),
• To undertake additional duties in line with capabilities as required,

What We Are Looking For

• Scheduling, planning or coordinating experience,
• A dynamic, organised individual with excellent communication skills,
• Confident in using Microsoft Office packages,
• A general knowledge of nuclear site operational practices is highly desirable!
• Any service delivery, operational support, customer service experience,
• Due to location Full UK License is advised,
