As a Planning & Controls Officer, you'll play a key role in coordinating the planning and scheduling of maintenance, operational, and asset activities across our gas transmission network. You'll help ensure work is delivered safely, efficiently, and at the right time to maintain the availability and reliability of critical infrastructure.
Effective planning is essential to keeping the UK's gas transmission system operating safely and reliably. In this role, you'll translate long-term work plans into achievable operational schedules, helping teams deliver maintenance, repairs, and operational activities across terminals, compressor stations, pipelines, and AGI assets.
Working closely with operational, asset, construction, and planning teams, you'll help balance resources, manage changing priorities, and drive continuous improvement across the planning process. Your work will directly support the resilience of National Gas' network and the customers and communities that rely on it.
This role would suit someone who enjoys solving complex planning challenges, coordinating multiple stakeholders, and making sure work is delivered as effectively as possible. You'll be organised, confident communicating with a range of people, and motivated by delivering operational excellence.
