Job summary

Network Rail is offering a role within our planning team in the UK. You will assist with the planning and delivery of NSC wagon maintenance fleet and support planning of rail network operations.

We value safety, flexibility and a customer-focused approach. If you thrive under pressure and have knowledge of railway geography and network capability, this role is for you. Salary circa £26k–£28k with pension and travel benefits.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of relevant railway geography and network capability.
• Knowledge of relevant train services and network capacity.
• Able to work under pressure within a continuous planning process.
• Good communication skills and a customer focussed approach.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the planning and delivery of NSC wagon maintenance fleet.
• Assist with network wire requests and publication of the plan.
• Assist with the planning and delivery of the non allocated wagons.
• Assist with network wire requests.
• Assist with the booking of rail delivery and modular S&C operators.
• Assist in the identification and implementation of quality and efficiency improvements.
