Job summary

United Infrastructure Services is seeking a Planning Assistant to join its planning team in Washington. You will support the delivery of information and schedules to enable works to be carried out efficiently, in a delivery-focused, often fast-paced environment.

The role requires strong communication, IT proficiency and planning tool experience, with the ability to work both in a team and independently while meeting deadlines and SLAs.

  • Good spoken and written communication at all levels.

Responsibilities

  • Liaising with customer to ensure a positive customer experience
  • Manage workload to comply with Clients Service Level Agreements
  • Update Clients CC&B System
  • Coordination with the planning team regarding work schedules
  • Effective liaison with all stakeholders
  • All other duties assigned

Job Description

Join the thriving and dynamic United Infrastructure Services team in Washington! As a rapidly growing business, we are excited to welcome a new Planning Assistant to contribute to our success. If you’re looking for a long-term career opportunity with a Main Contractor, where you can develop your skills and be part of an industry-leading organisation, this role is for you.

Your Role: Planning Assistant

To operate effectively in a delivery focused and often fast-paced environment, working within the planning department to ensure that information is compiled ready for the work to be carried out.

Responsibilities:
  • Liaising with customer to ensure a positive customer experience
  • Manage workload to comply with Clients Service Level Agreements
  • Update Clients CC&B System
  • Coordination with the planning team regarding work schedules
  • Effective liaison with all stakeholders
  • All other duties assigned
Qualifications
Essential Skills:
  • The ability to self-motivate and work within a team
  • Good spoken and written communication skills at all levels
  • Attention to detail
  • Confidence in using computer packages and familiarity with planning tools
  • The ability to work under pressure to deadlines I.T literate particularly Microsoft Office andExcel
  • Well-developed verbal and written communication skills
  • Team player, but also comfortable working alone
  • Understands the need for respect, sensitivity and discretion in a public facing role
  • Some flexibility of working hours may be required
  • Self-Motivated, enthusiastic and calm under pressure
