North East Mayoral Strategic Authority is seeking an ambitious Planning & Performance Manager to join the Policy, Planning & Performance Team. You’ll drive delivery of the Mayor’s priorities and ensure a clear link from strategic aims to measurable outcomes across the region.

The role offers visibility at senior levels, opportunities to influence decision-making, and a chance to shape corporate planning and performance arrangements through collaborative partnership across the North East.

We're looking for an ambitious and experienced Planning & Performance Manager to join the North East Mayoral Strategic Authority at a pivotal time for the region. This is a unique opportunity to work at the centre of the organisation, helping to drive the delivery of the Mayor's priorities, strategic missions and long-term ambitions for communities, businesses and residents across the North East.

As a key member of the growing Policy, Planning & Performance Team, you'll help lead the development and delivery of our corporate planning and performance frameworks, ensuring there is a clear line of sight from strategic priorities through to measurable outcomes and real-world impact. You'll work directly with senior leaders, influencing decision-making, challenging thinking and helping to ensure that the Authority remains focused on what matters most.
