Job summary

North East Combined Authority is seeking a Corporate Performance Business Partner to join our Corporate Performance team. You'll work with Directors and Heads of Service to measure, understand and improve performance across the Council, driving improvement and supporting strategic decision-making.

This role challenges thinking, influences change and delivers better outcomes for residents by identifying trends, risks and opportunities and by producing high-quality reports and scorecards to inform

Qualifications

  • Experience of analysing, interpreting and presenting data to senior stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of performance management and continuous improvement.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the confidence to provide constructive challenge.
  • Ability to build effective relationships across a complex organisation.
  • Relevant qualification, or equivalent experience, in performance, data, analytics or a related field.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Directors and senior leaders to challenge, support and improve performance.
  • Producing high-quality performance reports and Scorecards that drive informed decision-making.
  • Identifying trends, opportunities and areas for improvement across Directorates.
  • Supporting the development, delivery and monitoring of Directorate Service Plans.

We're looking for a talented and ambitious Corporate Performance Business Partner to join our Corporate Performance team. You'll work alongside senior leaders across the Council, helping to drive improvement, support strategic decision-making, and ensure we deliver the best possible outcomes for residents.

About the Role

As a Corporate Performance Business Partner, you'll be at the heart of how we measure, understand and improve performance across the Council.

Working closely with Directors, and Heads of Service you'll provide the insight, challenge and support needed to drive improvement and ensure delivery against corporate priorities.

You'll work with senior leaders to identify performance challenges, risks and opportunities, providing the support and constructive challenge needed to drive improvement, strengthen accountability and deliver better outcomes for residents.

What You'll Be Doing:
