Vivid Resourcing is seeking a Planner to join their growing planning team in the South West, with Bristol or Cardiff office options. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated planning professional to develop their career across diverse projects.

Qualifications

• MRTPI qualified or working towards chartership.
• Experience within a planning consultancy, local authority, or developer environment.
• Strong technical planning knowledge and report-writing skills.
• Good understanding of the South West planning market and policy environment.
• Confident communicator with strong relationship-building skills.
• Proactive, commercially aware, and keen to develop professionally.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage planning applications, appeals, and development proposals.
• Provide planning advice to clients across a variety of sectors.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and local authorities.
• Support business development activities and help identify new opportunities.
• Contribute to project delivery, ensuring high-quality technical outputs.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across the wider business.
