Job summary

Mott MacDonald is seeking a Senior Town Planner to join our expanding planning team based in Cardiff or Bristol. You will support delivery of major infrastructure projects and help grow our planning offer in Wales and the South West of England.

You will lead planning applications, coordinate multi-disciplinary inputs, and build strong relationships with clients and authorities. The role offers hybrid working, a supportive environment, and clear progression toward chartered membership and

Qualifications

• Degree or Masters in Town Planning or equivalent.
• Experience preparing and submitting planning applications, feasibility studies, masterplans and regeneration strategies.
• Experience overseeing multidisciplinary projects and mentoring junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a range of planning projects as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
• Lead and coordinate planning applications and bid inputs.
• Engage with Local Planning Authorities and statutory consultees to ensure timely determinations.
• Support growth of the Wales and SW England Planning team and relationships with clients.
