Job summary

Comxps Ltd in Leeds is seeking an experienced Rail Planning and Scheduling professional for a 12-month contracting authority role with a government client. The position requires strong communications, leadership, and ability to explain outputs to non-planning personnel; hybrid work with three days in the office (Tue-Thu).

You will work on NR PACE lifecycle ES1–ES8 stages, read railway design/box plans, manage multiple schedules, and coordinate with stakeholders to deliver integrated schedules.

Qualifications

• Strong communications, able to explain planning and scheduling outputs to non-planning personnel.
• Demonstrate leadership of teams and developing others.
• Examples of simplifying complex / detailed programme for reporting purposes.
• Understanding of railway design and delivery principles, experience in reading Railway Access box plans alongside schedules.
• Experience in early stage project development (ES1–ES3) within the NR PACE lifecycle.
• Experience within the construction & delivery phase (ES4–ES8) within the NR PACE lifecycle.
• Experience in stakeholder management.
• Strong experience in integrating multiple schedules.

Location: Leeds 3 days in the office (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday)

Contracting Authority: Government Client
Contract Length: 12 months with a view to extending
Clearance: BPSS

Criteria Specific for the Role:
