Job Title: Planner - Maintenance

Function: Distilling - Engineering

Location: Invergordon Distillery, Invergordon

Job Level: (Internal Reference Only) 3

Contract: Full Time / Maintenance - Monday to Thursday, 08:00am – 4:30pm & Friday, 08:00 – 14:00 (38 hours p/w) Flexible approach to this work pattern is required.

Travel within the UK will be required.

What the opportunity looks like:

Plan, schedule, prioritise, and coordinate maintenance activities across our 5 distilling sites. Develop and manage maintenance schedules, track work orders, and ensure that all maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and on time. Responsible for maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, managing spare parts inventory, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Preparation and monitoring of project plans to assist the PM in ensuring they remain on schedule and budget.

  • Liaise with Maintenance and Operations personnel and lead weekly scheduling meetings and produce detailed ‘this week - next week’ plan schedules for each site taking account of available resource.
  • Review work tasks and liaise with maintenance and operational teams to determine durations and resources required.
  • Ensure that all Safety and Environmentally Critical tasks are planned and executed to maintain 100% compliance.
  • Ensure that ‘This week – Next week’ maintenance schedules are distributed in a timely manner to allow maintenance team to prepare.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure that they are stored on a logical manner and accessible to those who require access.

Skills and experience that will help you be a success:

For this role we're looking for:

  • Maintenance planning experience required, preferably in a production or manufacturing role.
  • Relevant professional experience in Engineering or Supply Chain, preferably Drinks, FMCG or Oil & Gas industry.
  • Experience of dealing with multiple stakeholders and able to communicate effectively across all levels of the organisation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly analytical and numerate with first-rate attention to detail.
  • Ability to work on many pressing priorities at the same time with calm and resolution.
