Job summary

Kier Group is seeking a Planner / Assistant Planner for the HMP Glasgow project in Glasgow. The role focuses on producing integrated programmes, reporting progress, and coordinating logistics for a multi-building development with a £300M value.

You will collaborate with the senior planner and site teams on a major construction front, working a 40-hour week with some flexibility. Applicants should have strong planning software skills, a construction degree, and a valid driving licence.

Qualifications

• Experience on large construction projects and contract types.
• Proficiency with planning software (Asta PowerProject).
• Degree in a construction related subject.

Responsibilities

• Contributing towards the production and coordination of integrated programmes, phase sequence plans and method statements
• Setting, maintaining and reporting on key project controls
• Monitoring progress and producing internal and external progress reports for the project leadership teams and client
• Supporting the development of site organisation, resource and logistics plans
• Contributing to contractual and change management programme aspects
