HOCHTIEF (UK) Construction Limited is recruiting a seasoned Planner to support bidding teams with robust planning, scheduling and control deliverables for tunnelling works in Snowdonia, North Wales. The position is site-based, five days a week, offering a competitive salary of £85,000–£90,000 per annum plus a car allowance or
£85,000 - £90,000 per annum (plus annual car allowance or company vehicle)

About the role
We are looking to expand our team with skilled and enthusiastic individuals to deliver a tunnelling project in the beautiful region of Snowdonia, North Wales. Our work will significantly enhance the visual impact of the area, burying a network of overhead cables and removing a number of pylons to restore and protect the natural beauty, wildlife and environmental heritage of this precious landscape.
The project requires a Planner who will support to bid teams through the provision of an efficient and effective planning, scheduling and planning deliverables function for any work type and any value.
You will have the ability to develop detail within an existing programme and coach others when required.
You must have an understanding of the introduction and evaluation of risk in programmes and using appropriate methods to check programme robustness.
About you
It is essential that you have a demonstrable, broad understanding and working knowledge of construction methods and outputs along with an understanding of commercial and contractual requirements and awareness of change.
You will have the ability to evaluate supply chain programmes and understand and comply with business processes and systems.
You must also be able to establish and maintain Internal and External Project Controls reporting.
Please note that this role will be site based at Snowdonia VIP 5 days per week.
