If you are looking for a fresh challenge, if you want a unique opportunity to broaden your experience and help shape the future of the nation's favourite seaside destination then this could be the job for you.
Blackpool really is unique, where else could you find a £2 billion+ regeneration programme including:
With a population of around 141,000 living in a borough of less than 35 square kilometres, Blackpool is an incredibly compact urban authority with a unique seaside heritage of roller coasters, piers and the iconic Blackpool Tower.
However, the town suffers from high levels of inner area deprivation that sadly top the national charts presenting a huge challenge. We are a Unitary Authority which brings together the functions of planning, highway management, public protection, social care, education and health which enables a truly holistic approach to development and regeneration.
