Job summary

Framatome in the United Kingdom is seeking a Planner to maintain integrated master project schedules and artefacts across projects, ensuring outputs feed into the programme and reporting streams.

You will lead planning activities from requirement through WBS to baselined schedule, deliver schedule reports including EVM and resource analysis, and promote planning tools and templates across the business.

Qualifications

  • Must possess PPC Foundation qualification
  • Must have APM Project Fundamentals Qualification
  • ECITB Planning & Scheduling Practice or equivalent
  • Must be an APM Associate Member
  • Desirable: APM Full Membership
  • Desirable: PPC Practitioner
  • Desirable: Earned Value Management Foundation
  • Desirable: NEC3/4 Programme Training

Responsibilities

Planners will be responsible for maintaining integrated master project schedules and associated artefacts within their delegated area of responsibility. These outputs support project management and customer/business reporting requirements, and the role ensures all outputs fed into this system are suitable and timely.

Key Activities
  • Maintain master project schedules for larger projects or collections of projects and integrate outputs from other functions before adding them to the master programme.
  • Lead the planning process on projects, taking the integrated project team from requirement through to WBS and the baselined schedule.
  • Lead integrated schedule reporting and outputs to the business and customer, including Earned Value Management (EVM), resource analysis, schedule performance and milestone reporting.
  • Advocate the tools, processes, guidance and templates of the Planning discipline on their projects/ in their area by promoting engagement across the business to foster buy‑in and adoption.
  • Own master schedules (PBS, WBS, OBS) and RAMEVM reporting, schedule reporting, resource analysis and Quantitative Schedule Risk Analysis (QSRA) model and reports (supporting RAID manager).
