East Devon District Council is recruiting a Planned Works Surveyor to support the delivery of planned maintenance and improvement works across our housing stock. The role focuses on developing specifications, tenders and contracts in line with our Climate Strategy and regulatory requirements.

• Be a qualified building surveyor with knowledge of CDM regulations and housing legislation.
• Experience delivering planned maintenance and improvement works.
• Strong communication and organisational skills; ability to prepare specifications and procure contractors.
