Job summary

ICW is seeking a Plan Checker to review plans and supporting documentation for compliance with Building Regulations and ICW Technical Standards. You will collaborate closely with clients, architects, inspectors and internal teams to ensure high-quality, audit-ready files.

The role requires strong attention to detail, Chartered or working toward professional membership, and proven experience in plan checking within Building Control across residential and/or commercial developments.

Qualifications

• Plan checks experience within Building Control and residential/commercial developments.
• Strong knowledge of Building Regulations and associated legislation.
• Excellent communication and ability to build effective stakeholder relationships.

Responsibilities

• Review plans and supporting documentation to ensure compliance with Building Regulations and ICW Technical Standards.
• Maintain robust audit trails and address previous comments.
• Collaborate with clients, architects, inspectors and colleagues to deliver compliant projects.
