Job summary

King's College London is seeking a proactive Placements Officer to deliver high-quality educational support for student placements. You will provide frontline assistance to students, academic staff, and placement staff, ensuring effective use of the online practice learning system and accurate record management across systems.

The role requires excellent communication, stakeholder management, and numeracy skills, with a hybrid working pattern and opportunities for professional development

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent
• Ability to work with a broad range of stakeholders in a professional and assured manner
• Excellent written and oral communication skills including drafting documents and correspondence
• Excellent organisation and time management skills
• Strong numeracy skills and ability to analyse complex numerical data
• Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages and the ability to work with new systems
• Proactive with the ability to work independently as well as delivering within a team
• Curious, customer service oriented, with a commitment to personal accountability and continuous improvement

Responsibilities

• Provide frontline support to students on placements and to academic staff
• Develop and support the online practice learning system and its data requirements
• Liaise with Faculty teams to provide operational support for the digital education platform
• Ensure accurate and timely record management across multiple systems
• Support the Student Help Desk and contribute to a high-quality student experience
