Job summary

University of Brighton is recruiting for a fixed-term, full-time Student Operations and Support role to help students secure work-based learning experiences across Brighton campuses. The role offers hybrid working with on-campus requirements during term times and a 37-hour week.

Salary ranges from £31,236 to £34,610 per annum, with a fixed end date of 31 August 2027. If you thrive on helping students translate learning into practice, apply to join our Placements, Internships & Volunteering team.

Qualifications

• Understanding of student placements in Higher Education.
• Experience working with students in an education environment.
• Experience delivering skills workshops.
• Excellent organisation, communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills.
• Good administration skills with MS Office and databases.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1-1 support to students.
• Deliver skills workshops.
• Engage with local, national, and international employers.
• Attend Careers Fairs and employability events.
• Administer and monitor student placement activity.
