Job summary

BMW Group in the UK is offering a placement year internship with the Sales Development team, based in Farnborough. You will support Area Managers, develop relationships with retailers, and provide reporting insights to monitor and improve the customer journey while ensuring compliance and operational excellence.

The role requires studying for a Bachelor's degree in a related field and strong MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Studying towards a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, English or similar field.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong numeracy and literacy with excellent verbal and written communications.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Self-starter with initiative and motivation to succeed.
• Outgoing personality for networking across BMW Group Finance and BMW Group UK.
• Independent and curious to learn more about the business.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to Area Managers and play an active role in supporting the Retailer experience.
• Develop, maintain and provide reporting insights for the Sales Development team.
• Maintain focus on the Customer Journey through the retailer network, ensuring it is optimised and compliant.
• Ensure alignment across BMW Group to harmonise objectives across legacy systems.
• Collaborate with Operations teams to ensure best approach and close working relationships with Area Managers, New Business Operations and Customer Services.
