BMW UK in Farnborough is offering a Placement Year opportunity for a Used Cars Business Analyst. You will learn by doing, joining the Used Cars team from day one with responsibilities across strategic projects and performance analysis.

The role requires an undergraduate student with a 2:1 or above, strong analytical and numerical skills, and proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint and Word. A competitive salary and attractive benefits are provided, with 27 days holiday and an on-site restaurant.

Qualifications

• Currently studying an undergraduate degree with predicted grade of 2:1 or above.
• Demonstrates analytical thinking and strong communication skills.
• Good numerical ability and attention to detail.
• Quick learner eager to take on tasks and responsibilities.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.

Responsibilities

• Support the Used Cars team in developing and implementing BMW and MINI Used Car strategic projects.
• Assist with analysis, development and implementation of the BMW Group Used Car strategy to ensure it is sustainable and profitable.
• Assist with organisation, prioritisation and management of Used Car key projects to increase opportunities for Retailer Growth.
• Research industry and competitor trends and analyse internal programmes and data to provide insights for future Used Car development.
• Support budgeting and reconciling with relevant teams to fund projects and suppliers.
• Explore and develop Used Car programmes such as Audits, Mystery Shops, AUC standards and more.
