Overview

Junior Finance Officer
Undergraduate Internship/Placement Year – 12 months. Fixed Term Contract (Full-Time).

The Role

Supporting the Finance Management and Tax function, through the provision of data, control observation and reporting. The candidate will obtain visibility to the full operations of Kia UK (KUK) and Kia Ireland/England (KIE). The role involves critical analysis with exception reporting to contribute to the growing excellence of the organisation’s controls, and exposure to group companies and external advisers in the provision and understanding of key drivers of revenue, costs and investment analysis.

The Team

The Financial Management team operates in a highly pressured environment with a focus on reliability and accuracy. Team members have progressed within the company and have a detailed understanding of the challenges of starting a career in a fast-paced finance team.

About You

The ideal candidate will be:

  • Studying a relevant degree (e.g. a Finance related subject).
  • Able to work effectively within a team and independently.
  • Passionate and hard-working, open to developing knowledge and skills.
  • Proactive, taking the initiative to develop fresh approaches and new solutions.

Location
