Job summary

Middlesex University London is seeking a Placement and Work Experience Consultant to support students in securing placements, internships, volunteering opportunities and other forms of work-related learning. As part of Careers and Futures, you will work directly with undergraduate and postgraduate students, providing tailored one-to-one guidance and delivering engaging employability workshops.

• Experience of supporting students within a higher education or employability setting.
• Excellent communication, relationship-building and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide tailored one-to-one guidance to undergraduate and postgraduate students on placements, internships, volunteering and other work-related learning.
• Deliver engaging employability workshops and patient guidance throughout the placement journey.
• Collaborate with employers, academic colleagues and professional services to build partnerships and create opportunities that strengthen student employability.
• Monitor engagement, support compliance processes and contribute to the growth of placement activity across the University.
