Job summary

Activate Learning seeks a Work Experience Coordinator in Oxford on a fixed-term maternity cover, part-time 30 hours per week. You will support a caseload of students to develop their employability skills and prepare for a work experience placement relevant to their career plans.

Working alongside our teams of learning professionals, you will deliver ‘Preparation for Placement’ sessions to students, as well as progress tracking sessions throughout the academic year to ensure all students are

Qualifications

• Highly organized and attentive with strong administrative and IT skills.
• Experience managing multiple tasks, tracking progress and reprioritising to meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to support learners.
• Empathetic and confident in guiding students to develop work readiness and employability skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 'Preparation for Placement' sessions to students.
• Provide progress tracking sessions throughout the academic year.
• Record placements on the work experience system and monitor accuracy.
• Support students and employers to ensure excellent outcomes and compliant health and safety paperwork.
