Cummins Inc. is offering a 12-month Placement Student position in Sales and Business Development based in the UK (Sandwich).

The role focuses on supporting the BESS International Sales team, handling real customer opportunities and gaining experience in pricing, market research, and opportunity management. Ideal candidates are pursuing a Business/Sales/Marketing/Commercial/Contracts/Administration degree and have strong IT skills (Excel, PowerPoint).

Qualifications

• Studying towards a Business/Sales/Marketing/Commercial/Contracts/Administration degree.
• Excellent IT skills with Excel and PowerPoint; Power BI beneficial but not essential.
• Ability to interpret data, solve problems and think innovatively.
• Team player with strong workload management.

Responsibilities

• Support international customer opportunities and assist in bringing Battery Energy Storage System solutions to market.
• Contribute to commercial proposals, pricing and margin analysis.
• Conduct market research and use sales tools for opportunity management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and interact with international customers and dealers.
• Gain practical experience in renewable energy and international sales.
