Job summary

Galliford Try Investments is seeking a Place and Development Director to be seconded to Hub North Scotland. The role leads the Place, Investment and Advisory functions across the North East, Highlands, Islands and Argyll & Bute.

The post-holder will work with Clients, Government and funders to develop and deliver major community infrastructure projects, including education, health, housing and energy schemes, guiding strategy and ensuring delivery milestones are met.

Qualifications

• Able to work under pressure and deliver to deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and influencing skills.
• Degree qualified and/or professionally accredited.
• Strong planning and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Sourcing & Strategy: Identify, source and secure new opportunities, shaping propositions.
• Partnership Development: Drive engagement of strategic relationships.
• Team & Advisor Leadership: Lead selection and management of partners and design teams.
• Programme Delivery: Establish and oversee development and commission programmes, manage milestones.
• Governance & Approvals: Lead governance processes, set budgets and control expenditure.
• Stakeholder Engagement & Presentations: Produce high-quality materials and present proposals.
