Job summary

Currie & Brown is seeking an experienced Development & Place Associate Director to join the Executive Management Team at Hub North Scotland. This senior role will shape and deliver major place, infrastructure, development and investment programmes across the North of Scotland.

The role involves identifying opportunities, leading large-scale projects across sectors, and working closely with public sector clients and delivery partners from inception to delivery.

Qualifications

• Senior strategic development experience in infrastructure, regeneration, consultancy or investment.
• Proven ability to secure opportunities and deliver major programmes.
• Experience engaging with public sector clients and senior partners.

Currie & Brown is looking for an experienced Development & Place Associate Director to join the Executive Management Team at Hub North Scotland.

This is a senior strategic role with the opportunity to shape and deliver major place, infrastructure, development and investment programmes across the North of Scotland.

What you’ll be doing:

• Identify and secure new development, advisory and investment opportunities
• Lead the development of major place, energy & Net Zero and infrastructure programmes
• Build and manage strong relationships with public sector clients, developers, funders and delivery partners
• Develop business cases, investment strategies and propositions
• Provide strategic oversight of programmes from inception through to delivery
• Lead on commercial, financial, governance and risk management
• Contribute to the strategic direction of Hub North as part of the Executive Management Team

You’ll work across sectors including education, healthcare, housing, regeneration, energy, leisure and social infrastructure.

We’re looking for someone with a strong background in development, infrastructure, regeneration, consultancy or investment, with proven experience leading complex programmes and engaging at senior/executive level.

You must be based in the Aberdeen area and have a strong understanding of the North of Scotland market and public sector environment.
