Job summary

Eutopia Solutions is partnering with a prestigious regional organisation to recruit a Developer with strong PL/SQL and Java skills for a Liverpool-based, hybrid role. You will lead development, maintenance and support for a key platform using Oracle databases, with Java front-end and PL/SQL processing.

• Extensive expertise of development on Oracle 12 / 19 databases.
• Experience of programming in Java or C#.

Developer PL/SQL and Java – Liverpool / Hybrid working

We are proud to be partnering with one of the most prestigious organisations in the region as they add to one of their core Technology Teams with a developer skilled in PL/SQL and Java.

Our client is one of the largest local employers and is globally renowned. This team are integral to the business as they process and map vital data that integrates with other essential platforms.

About the Role

You will play a key role in leading on the development, maintenance and support of one of their key platforms. Working with an oracle database, the administrative front-end is delivered through Java and PL/SQL used for the processing of the data so it is essential that you are skilled in all of these. You will be required to offer support to end users, and so exceptional communication skills are also vital.

Experience in working with supporting Higher Education platforms such as Banner would be highly advantageous.

This is offered as a 1-year fixed term contract.

Please note that there is a requirement to be onsite 2 days a week and so you must live within easy commute of central Liverpool to accommodate this.
