Job summary

Pharmaron is seeking an experienced PK/PD Leader to provide scientific leadership in pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamic modelling and simulation across our global drug discovery and development organisation.

You will design and deliver PK/PD strategies spanning discovery through clinical development, integrating PK, pharmacology, biomarkers, efficacy and safety to support candidate selection and dose regimen decisions.

Qualifications

BSc or higher degree in a quantitative or scientific discipline.
Significant industry experience delivering PK/PD modelling and simulation programmes.
In-depth knowledge of PK/PD modelling principles and methodologies.
Experience using relevant modelling software such as MATLAB, NONMEM, Monolix, Phoenix WinNonlin, R.
Ability to translate modelling outputs into practical recommendations for compound progression and study design.
Excellent written and verbal communication for cross‑functional teams.

Responsibilities

Provide scientific leadership for PK/PD modelling and simulation programmes.
Define and implement PK/PD modelling and quantitative pharmacology strategy with global leadership.
Develop fit‑for‑purpose models integrating PK data with biomarkers, efficacy and safety endpoints.
Quantify exposure–response relationships and translate results into project recommendations.
Lead client‑facing programmes, including modelling strategy, proposals, scopes of work, reports and presentations.
Mentor and train scientists in PK/PD modelling and quantitative pharmacology.
