Job summary

Soho House in Manchester is seeking a Pizza Chef to oversee the pizza station, from dough stretching to baking and plating, using fresh, seasonal ingredients. You will ensure quality standards and a smooth service, working as part of a fast-paced kitchen team with a passion for high standards and exceptional presentation.

The role requires strong knowledge of dough handling, experience with pizza ovens (wood-fired, gas, or electric), and precise timing.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience as a pizza chef in a high-volume venue.
• Hands-on experience with hand-stretched dough and multiple oven types.
• Knowledge of Neapolitan, Roman, and New York–style pizzas.
• Strong hygiene, timing, and presentation standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare dough and portion dough to spec with proper proofing and consistency.
• Assemble pizzas according to Soho House recipes and presentation standards.
• Cook pizzas in various ovens while managing multiple orders.
• Maintain oven preheating, cleaning, and maintenance.
• Collaborate with chefs and FOH teams to deliver guest experiences.
• Follow food safety guidelines and complete daily prep tasks.
