Job summary

Soho House in Manchester is seeking a Pizza Chef to lead the pizza station, from dough stretching to baking and plating, using fresh, seasonal ingredients to deliver consistent, high-quality pizzas.

You will work in a fast-paced kitchen, demonstrate expertise with hand-stretched dough and multiple ovens, maintain hygiene, and collaborate with colleagues to ensure guest satisfaction and smooth service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience as a pizza chef in a high-volume kitchen.
• Proven experience with hand-stretched dough.
• Knowledge of pizza styles (Neapolitan, Roman, New York).

Responsibilities

• Prepare dough from scratch or portion pre-made dough to spec.
• Assemble pizzas according to Soho House recipes and presentation standards.
• Cook pizzas in a pizza oven while managing multiple orders during service.
• Ensure the pizza oven is preheated, cleaned and maintained.
• Monitor and replenish pizza station mise en place (toppings, sauces, cheeses, herbs).
• Maintain hygiene and organization at the pizza station throughout service.
• Collaborate with chefs, porters and FOH teams to deliver seamless service.
• Assist in the preparation of other dishes and support kitchen sections as needed.
• Follow food safety guidelines and temperature logs.
• Complete daily prep checklists and cleaning duties before and after shifts.
