Job summary

Zanna Group is seeking a Pizza Chef to join our team in Manchester. You will report to the Head Chef and ensure high-quality pizzas and dough-based products, maintaining consistency across all dishes.

You will work with the bakery team on dough preparation and fermentation, bringing your pizza dough experience. A proactive team player is essential to grow with our expanding operation.

Qualifications

• Experience with dough preparation, fermentation and pizza production.
• Knowledge of HACCP procedures within a food-safety system.
• Willingness to take on a range of kitchen tasks when required.

• Fully responsible for your section ensuring quality and consistency at all production stages.
• Work closely with the bakery team to prepare, ferment and manage dough to a high standard.
• Bring proven experience with pizza dough handling and fermentation techniques.

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Pizza Chef. Reporting directly to the Head Chef, you will play a key role in delivering consistently high-quality pizzas and dough-based products.

You will share our commitment to delivering an outstanding customer experience and take real pride in ensuring quality and consistency of every dish produced.

You will:

• be fully responsible for your section, ensuring quality and consistency of food during all stages of production;
• work closely with the bakery team to prepare, ferment and manage dough to the highest standard;
• bring proven experience working with pizza dough, fermentation and dough handling techniques;
• participate in the HACCP procedures according to the company’s Food Safety Management System;
• have a ‘can do’ approach and a willingness to undertake a range of kitchen tasks, including food prep, when required.

You will love working with fresh ingredients from around the world and learning new processes and techniques. An excellent team player, you will be willing to share your skills and experience with others.

You will have previous experience working within a similar role and environment, with strong knowledge of dough preparation, fermentation and pizza production. You will be keen to learn, develop and progress within a growing team.
