Job summary

Gracey's At Arcade in London is seeking a pizza chef to join the Soho kitchen team. You’ll hand-stretch dough, top pizzas, and cook to perfection in our electric deck oven, delivering high volumes of consistently excellent pizzas.

This practical, fast-paced role requires 2+ years in a commercial kitchen, a food safety certificate, and a collaborative spirit. You’ll work closely with a tight-knit team who share a passion for flavour, craft and hospitality.

Qualifications

• Hygiene and Food Safety Level 2 certificate (essential).
• Kitchen experience, a minimum of 2 years in a commercial setting (essential).
• Experience of making pizza or dough is ideal, but we can train you if you’re keen to learn.
• A passion for food, cooking and genuine interest in pizza making.
• Confidence in prepping ingredients, knife skills, working cleanly, and keeping up in service.
• Understanding of kitchen hygiene and food safety standards.
• The ability to stay calm under pressure and pay attention to detail.
• A collaborative, proactive approach and positive energy on shift.
• Reliability, punctuality, and a willingness to learn and improve.
• Pride in presentation and consistency.

Responsibilities

About The Role

We’re looking for a pizza chef to join our Soho kitchen team. We're looking for someone with commercial fast‑paced kitchen experience who can hand‑stretch dough, top pizzas, and cook them to perfection in our oven or who has the aptitude to learn how to do so.

This is a practical, fast‑paced role where no two days feel the same, and you’ll be working closely with a tight‑knit team who love what they do. You'll be working with an electric deck oven to create high volumes of consistently outstanding pizzas, from the stretch to the final bake.
