Job summary

Yard Sale Pizza Crystal Palace is hiring a part-time pizza chef to join our award-winning neighbourhood kitchen. You’ll showcase pizza making, keep the kitchen efficient, and maintain high standards while collaborating with a small, friendly team.

We offer weekend shifts on Fridays and Saturdays, overtime paid, tips via TiPJAR, training and progression, and great discounts. People enjoy free pizza on shift and a supportive working environment.

Qualifications

• Available to work Friday and Saturday evenings.
• Experience stretching, baking and dough handling in a fast-paced environment.
• Be an excellent team player
• All applicants must be eligible to work in the UK and speak English.

We’re a young but growing business currently with 8 sites, offering plenty of career progression for hard working individuals.

Duties:

• You'll be showcasing your wonderful pizza-making skills;
• Ensuring the kitchen service is running smoothly;
• Adhering to exceptional high standards;
• Completing all prep as required;
• Cleaning down the kitchen including deep cleans when required;
• Take responsibility of your workstation;
• Work collaboratively in a team.

Requirements:

• You must be available to work Friday and Saturday evenings.
• Experience stretching, baking and making dough in a fast-paced environment.
• Be an excellent team player

Our third shop south of the river and we are so excited to be joining the Crystal Palace neighbourhood. We’ll be open seven days a week for delivery & collection, plus there’s a few seats to dine in too!

Yard Sale Pizza fired up the oven in 2014, starting with weekly supper clubs from our backyard in Hackney. We now offer delivery, dine-in and takeaway in 17 of our favourite neighbourhoods. Known for our collaborations, we’ve teamed up with illustrators, musicians, international chefs & local eateries- all on the quest for the perfect pie!
