Job summary

Clyde & Co Global Services Limited is seeking a Bid & Pursuit Manager in Glasgow to lead high-profile pitches, tenders and RFP responses from opportunity through submission. You will work with partners, lawyers and senior leaders to shape winning proposals and drive new business.

The role combines strategic thinking, persuasive writing and stakeholder engagement in a hybrid pattern, with a mix of office and remote work, supporting growth across key markets.

Qualifications

• Experience managing complex bids, pitches, tenders and RFP responses.
• Ability to develop winning pursuit strategies aligned to client needs and business objectives.
• Strong project management with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and stakeholders simultaneously.
• Experience coordinating end-to-end bid processes from opportunity identification through to submission.

This is an exciting opportunity to sit at the heart of the firm's most strategic client opportunities across the Middle East and Africa. Working closely with partners, lawyers and senior business leaders, you will lead high-profile pitches, tenders, panel appointments and RFP responses that directly contribute to the firm's growth ambitions. Combining strategic thinking, persuasive writing, project management and stakeholder engagement, you'll play a critical role in securing new business and strengthening key client relationships.

Essential Skills & Experience

Pitch & Pursuit Management

• Proven experience managing complex bids, pitches, tenders, panel appointments and RFP responses
• Ability to develop winning pursuit strategies aligned to client needs and business objectives
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and stakeholders simultaneously
• Experience coordinating end-to-end bid processes from opportunity identification through to submission

Writing & Communication

• Exceptional written communication skills with the ability to create compelling, client-focused content
• Experience drafting executive summaries, proposal responses, credentials and case studies
• Strong editing and proofreading skills with a meticulous attention to detail
• Ability to translate complex legal and commercial concepts into clear, persuasive messaging

Stakeholder Management & Collaboration

• Proven ability to build trusted relationships with partners, lawyers and business services teams
• Experience influencing senior stakeholders and providing strategic advice throughout the pursuit process
• Strong collaboration skills with experience managing cross-functional teams including finance, risk, pricing and design functions
• Confidence supporting senior stakeholders with presentation preparation, coaching and interview rehearsals

Commercial & Strategic Awareness

• Strong commercial awareness and understanding of client relationship development
• Ability to analyse market trends, client requirements and competitive positioning to inform bid strategies
• Experience conducting win/loss reviews and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement
• Commitment to maintaining governance, compliance and risk management standards throughout the bidding lifecycle
