Job summary

Matchtech is seeking a Piping Engineer - Completion Lead for the MEH Alliance at Hinkley Point C. Based in Bristol with hybrid/site-based support, you will lead the delivery of mechanical and piping work packs to keep site installation on schedule.

You will drive pressure testing, completion activities and technical queries, providing matrix leadership across disciplines to unblock issues and safeguard project milestones.

Qualifications

• Proven piping completion, pressure testing or construction field engineering experience.
• Experience delivering high-integrity engineering safely, on budget and on schedule.
• Strong interpersonal and matrix management skills to influence stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee delivery of Mechanical & Piping Construction Work Packs to ensure site continuity.
• Lead field engineering activities focused on pressure testing and system completion.
• Exercise technical authority on-site to resolve queries and prevent downtime.
• Provide operational management across a matrixed team of engineers.
• Coordinate with contract leads and other disciplines to maintain schedule.
