Job summary

Construction is seeking seasoned pipefitters for a major refinery shutdown at Fawley Refinery, Southampton. You must hold NVQ Level 3 in Pipefitting and CCNSG Safety Passport, with refinery/shutdown experience preferred. 10-week assignment with 60 hours per week, CIS Umbrella or PAYE options, lodge support for non-locals.

Start date 14/09/2026. Roles involve installing, replacing and repairing pipework, reading isometrics and drawings, measuring and fitting spools, flange work and safety

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Pipefitting or equivalent.
• CCNSG Safety Passport.
• Experience on refinery shutdowns preferred.
• Strong safety record and reliable attendance.

Job description

We're recruiting experienced Pipefitters for a major refinery shutdown at Fawley Refinery, Southampton (SO45 1TX). To join the team, you must be an NVQ Level 3 qualified Pipefitter and you will need a CCNSG Safety Passport.

Start Date: 14/09/2026.

Our Pipefitters will work on a 10-week assignment offering 60 hours per week, competitive rates, and lodge support for non-local workers.

The Role

Working as part of a refinery shutdown / turnaround team, duties will include:

• Installation, replacement and repair of pipework
• Working from isometrics, drawings and site job packs
• Measuring, cutting, preparing and fitting pipework and pipe spools
• Flange work, bolt-up, alignment and fit-up checks
• Following refinery safety procedures and permit-to-work systems

Requirements

• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Pipefitting
• Valid CCNSG Safety Passport
• Previous industrial site experience (refinery / shutdown experience preferred)
• Good safety record and reliable attendance
