Are you an experienced Pipefitter looking for work with an immediate start? If yes, read on.

My client is seeking to expand their team of Pipefitters for an upcoming project lasting over 8 weeks on site.

They are currently looking for skilled Pipefitters.

The Role - Pipefitter:
As a Pipefitter, you will be responsible for replacing pipe systems within a large food manufacturing facility, focusing on equipment such as bulk conveying systems, milling, and packaging machines, while adhering to safety guidelines.
This company specializes in high-quality mechanical installations across various commercial and industrial projects and is looking for a reliable and experienced professional to support their growing workload.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Fabricate, install, and weld pipework using MMA welding techniques.
• Perform Flux Cored Arc Welding on 304 standard stainless steel pipework to a high standard.
• Interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure precise pipework installations.
• Cut, prepare, and fit pipes to meet project requirements.
• Work as part of a team to complete on-site mechanical installations.
• Ensure all welding and pipefitting work complies with industry regulations and quality standards.
• Conduct quality checks and rectify any welding defects.

Requirements:

• Experience as a Pipefitter and Welder.
• Expertise in welding.
• Coded welding advantageous.
• Ability to read and work from technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines.

Working Environment:

• You may work in a factory environment, potentially in confined spaces.
• Wearing safety clothing and using safety equipment may be required.
• The role requires physical strength and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Minimum Skills / Experience Required - Pipefitter:

• Experience working as a Pipefitter.
• Experience working in confined spaces (training preferred).
• Ability to commute to Scunthorpe area.
