Job summary

Our Client in the Leeds area requires a Pipefitter/Project Engineer to work on plant room upgrades and commercial heating installation across sites in the UK. The role includes on-site pipework, radiators, hot water systems, and mechanical plant room installation within occupied premises.

Candidate should have NVQ2 in Heating & Ventilation; ACS Gas tickets are desirable. A full UK driving licence is essential for travel across Yorkshire and beyond.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Heating and Ventilation.

Responsibilities

• Working on occupied commercial and industrial properties carrying out plant room replacement work and occasionally commercial new builds.
• Pipework installation and replacements, installing radiators, cylinders, hot water systems, pumps, booster sets, boilers, etc.
• 1st and 2nd fix of commercial clean water plumbing systems.
• Measure, cut, thread, and bend steel and copper pipework.
• Installation of mechanical plant room in commercial sites.
• Occasionally overseeing other engineers/installers and ensuring work is completed to a high standard.

Our Client;

Pipefitter / Project Engineer required for our client, they are a Commercial Heating Contractor based in Leeds. They specialise in industrial and commercial gas, mechanical, and electrical services, offering a full suit of plant room re-fit, service, and repair works. The Pipefitter will work on plant room upgrades and commercial heating installation work on sites across the UK.

Pipefitter / Project Engineer Key Responsibilities

• Working on occupied commercial and industrial properties carrying out plant room replacement work and occasionally commercial new builds
• Responsibilities include pipework installation and replacements, installing radiators, cylinders, hot water systems, plumps, booster sets, boilers etc.
• 1st and 2nd fix of commercial clean water plumbing systems

Pipefitter / Project Engineer Requirements

Pipefitter / Project Engineer Remuneration

• Salary £46,000 - £60,000 (£20-23ph PAYE or £28-30ph Sub Contract)
• Travel Pay (After 15 mins)
• Overnight allowance of £35 per night
