Aeropeople Ltd in Glasgow is seeking a skilled Pipefitter to join a global defence and aerospace leader. The role is on site, with a varied shift pattern and a day start, plus 33% shift allowance on nights and weekends.
You will fabricate and install pipework across copper, CuNi, carbon steel and stainless steel, read drawings, and collaborate with other trades while upholding safety and quality standards. Experience in TIG pipe, welding, and SHE/COSH compliance is essential.
Salary: £40,016 per annum + shift allowance + overtime

We currently have a vacancy to join one of the world’s leading, global defence, security and aerospace companies as a Pipefitter. The role will be based in Glasgow and will require the successful candidate to be on site full time working a varied shift pattern (please see details below).

They are looking for a skilled and experienced Pipefitter to join their team in Clyde. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating and installing piping systems across a range of projects in the defence sector. You will play a key role in ensuring the efficient operation of piping installations while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.
There are 3 shifts available (although the successful candidate would start on a day shift and would then discuss with their manager if they would prefer a different shift) and the hours of work within each shift are highlighted below. Please note that both the night shift and the weekend shift will include a 33% shift allowance on top of the basic rate.

All successful candidates will be required to attend a Trade test which will be held in Glasgow. You will also be required to submit your trade certificates after an initial phone call with our recruiter.
Monday- Thursday: 1.33 (Time and a 3rd)
Friday: 1.5 (Time and a half for the first 4 hours and 2.00 (Double time) for any hours thereafter
Saturday: 1.5 (Time and a half)
Sunday: 2.00 (Double time)
