GENERAL SUMMARY

Fabricate and weld pipework to drawing specifications and ensures that the pipework is identified to ensure traceability during the Non Destructive Testing process. Build and develop a close relationship with NDT department. Work to ASME 9 welding code.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
  1. Fabricate and weld pipework to drawing specifications and to planned schedule as directed by line manager
  2. Experienced in small to medium size fabrication of Pipework, assemblies and Structures.
  3. Working to WPSs, Health and safety and Welds up to Xray Quality.
  4. Able to work in small team, with quality and time pressures, self-motivated.
  5. Obtain materials from stores areas including manual lifting and handling to a max of 30kg
  6. Internal relationships
KEY DELIVERABLES/PERFORMANCE INDICATORS
  1. Material Identification and allocation
  2. Material Deliveries
  3. Document Control
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
  1. TIG, MIG, FCAW, MMA preferred.
  2. Existing trade test Certificates LRQA, DNV, etc. beneficial.
