Industrial Pipe Fitter

Main Responsibilities
- Cut, thread, and hammer pipe to specifications, using tools such as saws, grinders, cutting torches, preparing pipe fit-up and pipe threaders and benders.
- Assemble and secure pipes, tubes, fittings, valves and related equipment, according to specifications and isometrics, by welding, brazing, cementing, soldering, and threading joints.
- Attach pipes to walls, structures and fixtures, such as equipment or tanks, using brackets, clamps, tools or welding equipment.
- Inspect, examine, and test installed piping systems using pressure gauge, hydrostatic testing, observation, or other methods.
- Measure and mark pipes for cutting and threading.
- Torqueing and tensioning of bolts for flanged connections.
- Installation of pipe supports.
- Rolling of pipeline strings onto roller tracks and trolleys.
- Steel pipe jacking using hydraulic or hand-operated jacks.
- Lay out full scale drawings of pipe systems, supports, and related equipment, following blueprints.
- Repair and replace worn pipe lines as per requirement.
- Assist with the installation of pipe assemblies, fittings and valves using hand and power tools.
- Support other departments, especially Welding & PWHT activities, if required.
- Ensure a 'zero harm' approach, with a focus on nuclear safety and security.
- Comply with company rules and instructions related to nuclear site license obligations.
- Maintain housekeeping of work areas, waste disposal, and removal of unused materials to reduce risks.
- Handle general maintenance products, hand and power tools safely and properly.

- Follow training and instructions when using work equipment.
Qualifications
- Diploma in Installing Engineering Construction Plant and Systems - Pipefitting, or ECITB Diploma, or hold the ECITB Skills Test (TMF05) or ACE Card.
- Prove English Level (CEFR) B1.
- Ability to achieve Security Clearance (BPSS).
- Hold or be able to obtain CCNSG Safety Passport.
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience.
