Industrial Pipe Fitter - ENKA UK - Hinkley Point C

Main Responsibilities
- Cut, thread, and hammer pipe to specifications, using tools such as saws, grinders, cutting torches, preparing pipe fit-up and pipe threaders and benders.
- Assemble and secure pipes, tubes, fittings, valves, and related equipment, according to specifications and isometrics, by welding, brazing, cementing, soldering, and threading joints.
- Attach pipes to walls, structures, and fixtures, such as equipment or tanks, using brackets, clamps, tools, or welding equipment.
- Inspect, examine, and test installed piping systems using pressure gauge, hydrostatic testing, observation, or other methods.
- Measure and mark pipes for cutting and threading.
- Perform torqueing and tensioning of bolts for flanged connections.
- Install pipe supports.
- Roll pipeline strings onto roller tracks and trolleys.
- Perform steel pipe jacking using hydraulic or hand-operated jacks.
- Lay out full-scale drawings of pipe systems, supports, and related equipment, following blueprints.
- Repair and replace worn pipe lines as required.
- Assist with the installation of pipe assemblies, fittings, and valves using hand and power tools.
- Support other departments, especially Welding & PWHT activities, as needed.
- Ensure a 'zero harm' approach, prioritizing nuclear safety and security.
- Comply with company rules and instructions related to nuclear site license obligations.
- Maintain housekeeping: collect, segregate, and dispose of wastes; remove unused materials; keep work areas safe.
- Safely use, store, and care for maintenance products and tools.
You Must:
- Take care of your own health and safety and that of others.
- Cooperate on health and safety matters and not misuse safety provisions.
- Follow training when using work equipment.
Qualifications
- Diploma in Installing Engineering Construction Plant and Systems - Pipefitting, or ECITB Diploma, or equivalent skills test/ACE Card.
- Proven English Level (CEFR B1).
- Ability to achieve Security Clearance (BPSS).
- Hold or be able to obtain CCNSG Safety Passport.
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience.
