Job summary

Orbital Recruitment Limited is seeking multiple Welders for our client in Ilkeston. You will weld flanges on large utility pipes for Water and Waste sectors using automatic welding machines and perform manual welds to address any defects. Training on manual lathes and other stages is provided.

We offer 7am–3:30pm days or 3pm–10:30pm afternoons, with a permanent contract after 12 weeks; pay ranges from £13.88 to £15.87 per hour, plus overtime and quarterly bonuses once permanent.

Qualifications

• Basic experience of MIG Welding or machine work.
• Ability to learn new skills as requested.
• Previous paint experience advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Welding flanges on large utility pipes for Water and Waste sectors.
• Use automatic welding machines to weld flanges, perform manual welds on defects.
• Spray painting coats on utility pipes.
• Will be trained on manual lathes and other stages.
